maybe a big water change will kick start her again...
getting rid of some of the meds/salt in there might bring her round.

Today is day 3 of the treatment. Second round prazipro. I was planning to do a water change on sunday and monday. But I think I'm going to do it tomorrow instead, then one on sunday and probally another on monday. I'll be adding carbon in her filters tomorrow with the water change. I just want to finish this second treatment with prazipro. I'm hoping all the worms are out but I don't know how to tell for sure.
I'm also dosing her tank with 1/2 tsp of vit. c and 1 100mg. capsule of beta-glucan per day. I'll check on her again when I get home from work.

i do agree.. i think there may be too many meds in there now.. double dosing IP's meds.. epson salt, melafix, primafix...

I did a large water change, and redosed prazipro. I haven't dosed with anything else. I was waiting to finish the prazipro treatment. I did redose once in the last 2 days with epsom salt.

That was a few days ago. I don't think she did. I just had a good look at her and there is more worm.
It's not as thick as it was in the beginning it's more like a strand of hair now. You can barely see it in the picture.

And I noticed that she has a lump again. Not like before but it's not flat like it was yesterday.

It's definitely the most gross one i've seen on TPF in my time here...
The only thing you can do now is large water changes, see if flushing the tank just gives her that push to keep going.
You are going to have to feed her soon though, or she'll be too weak and give up.

It's also the most gross thing I've ever dealt with.
Here's the update for the day. Another 3-4 inches of worm. This time it looked clear, not white. I tried to feed her and she still refused to eat. I'll do another water change when I get home tonight.

Looking for finquel, Drsfostersmith is on backorder until 1/29/09. I check 10 other petstores online and noone carries it. Any ideas?

I also emailed a friend to see if there is any in her area. If I'm going to have to tube feed Annabelle, I would rather have the finquel and not use clove oil. How long can she go without eating? I think we are on Day 12. I lost count.
