Another place to look is goodwill, flea markets, and yardsales. I have baught tanks from all 3.

Craigslist is a good start. Some shops have a $1 / gallon sale once in a while. The "as it grows" won't work These are not diapers for babies with different sizes or hand me down clothes.

Hunt the classifieds section in the news paper and also garage sales in the news paper.. if you have them check the local auctions. Spend about 1/2 hour a day looking for that tank. You'll find it. Hopefully sooner than later

Okay I don't understand, if they are willing to buy a tank "as it grows" why not just go ahead and buy it now?

Ya I really dont understand your parents. They say they wont get a new tank till it grows, but due to the size of the tank it is in it wont grow.

they are willing to get a ten gallion then if it grows out fo that they well get a biger one im waiting tell i get paid to do this though witch wont be till october first

Here is the problem. It will outgrow that tank very soon and you'll have to buy another one. If you buy a 29 now it will be the last tank you'll have to buy for the puffer. I'm not familiar with the other two.
