 why would you have to tear out your transmission to repair a bad slave cylinder? :?

^ The reason i have to drop the tranny is because GM decided not to give you a clip or anything so that you can take it out. the line runs streight in and theres no other way of getting to it. Its a Suzuki Forenza with a crappy and i mean crappy GM motor and trany.

Well i thought it was just the brakes were getting thin and it sucked air in the cylinder so i bleed the clutch and refilled the brake fluid. After a day of driveing it it went out again today. I had to drive it halfway across town with out a clutch to my father-in-laws shop. We stuck a pointer inbetween the bellhouseing and motor and guess what came pouring out, brake fluid, so yah its the slave cylinder. This is the 2nd slave cylinder since i baught the car brand new in 06. :x

We had to replace the water pump on my previous car and you had to take the entire engine out. The water pump was internal, cost almost $2000.

At this point you have to look at what might be compromising the integrity of the slave cylinder, rather than working on it directly. That's just WONDERFUL, so many new problems to examine...

Woot! Going to go look at a house today, I'm really excited... And we have to find some rug cleaner that will prevent mold, and scrub our bedroom floor, and we can get ourselves rearranged here again since the flood last week.

Getting frustrated because it doesn't seem to matter how small I make it, I can't make an avatar using a photo of my Fahaka, Vicious small enough to be less than 6kb. :pout: He just may be too big of a fish to squeeze into that tiny space! lol :smitten:

Havn't been able to sleep for 2 days now, I feel sick and dizzy and just generally ill.
I'm so nervous about this camera in hospital friday, I can't even think about it without crying.
I think I'm going to be the most wimpy patient they ever had honestly.
I wish the days would stop moving so fast..

Don't wanna make you think about it, but I'm sure it'll come and go quickly... =/ Sending you happy thoughts! I wish the days would slow down for me too, seems like the slower you need them to be, the quicker they go... If you look forward to something time drags... Hmm... Maybe a post-hospital reward is in order, to look forward to and maybe it'll equal out or slow it down some?

I'm actually going on holiday in August to Greece so I was looking forward to that, but now the hospital thing has totally just made me kind of forget about holiday, I know that it's not something serious I'm having I just worry way too much and start to panic >_<
Like when I had my belly button pierced.. I was panicing so much I fainted on the piercer & it didn't even hurt one bit.. I felt so stupid.
And I know this will be the same, it'll probably hurt 10 times less than I'm imagining.. I'll cry like a baby and feel stupid after, it's just nerves haha.
Thanks though :)

Just think, the sooner it comes the sooner it'll all be over and you won't have to worry about it anymore. Through the years I've come to look forward to exams because of that

Well, I bet Greece is going to be amazing! I spent 3 months in Italy right out of High School, and I'd love to travel again someday (no more kids! lol I can travel once she's not so darn expensive... especially if I can teach her to be trusted with my fish one day, to care for them while I'm gone!!!). Do you know people in Greece? Travelling alone? Sounds like a fabulous time - the food, wine... the beautiful scenery... I'm so jealous!
