I will admit, the thought has passed through my mind. It's not just the puffers, I like to rescue legless crabs too don't forget!
I think if I had more space that I would make more effort to take in puffers that are unwanted and/or handicapped .... but I would have to give up my healthy ones in order to do that. And I just don't think I can part with any of them. Although I might be needing to part with one or two GSP's soon. I'm now back to having 5 GSP's again!

Well today I had an ultrasound and they said they found something in my bladder (but don't know what)
So now I'm being refered to a specialist.. to have the camera thing in me & a more detailed scan, I'm so scared
I don't even know what it could be except things like a cyst and I don't want an operation or an ugly scar.. I just feel depressed and sad, it annoys me that I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I heardly eat junk etc.. & I'm ill for no reason yet my horrible old college friends who lie to everyone and smoke and drink and do drugs and have 2 abortions a year (no joke, 1 of them did) are ok. I'm not wishing anyone was ill but I don't see how my body is always the one where things go wrong when I should be healthy, It's not fair =[

Awwww.... sorry Tigerlilly, but it might not be as bad as you think. And stuff happens to good people, there is not explanation for it. Just think though .... you could be worse than you are. That's what keeps me going. There's people who are really bad off in this world and I count my blessings that I'm not one of them. So try thinking that way! I'm sure you will be fine.

Yeh, it could be a lot worse I know just right now I'm very moody I'm sick of being injected and poked and having tests done and painful things.
I just hope it's nothing I have to have an operation for.

Yesterday ... e-mailed the person about ramshorns ... no reply.

Called today ... no reply ... again called today .. no reply.

I can't express out how angry I am, as we are planning to visit that city tomorrow and the side pick up would have been nice.

AND my CO2 regulator is fused and useless... now have to buy another one .....grrr.....

Took my kids to the school carnival last night- inside thank goodness as it poured and THUNDERED! - and had a great time. Howwver, thecold that was whispering to me at 3 p.m. Was at at forte by 11 and i didnt want to do w/cs. By this morning, its a raging annoyance!

Today Im sick

sinus infection, sore throat, cough, head ache. No health insurance so that means $100 to see the doc in a box and at least a 2 hour wait sitting in the waiting room. I think im gonna try to weather this cold out, but im sure antibiotics would help.

I guess puffer punk would tell me to take vit C and drink melafix

I had a ton of sinus pain this morning. A very warm washcloth on my face helped a lot.

Just a tip...often what is thought to be a sinus infection..is not...especially when you are beginning a cold.


If you have what feels like a stuffed up nose..and pain in your sinus...try nose drops like Afrin..

what is happening is that you are not stuffed up with snot (even though you may have some mucus) your sinuses are actually inflamed and swollen --try a medicine that will decrease inflammation like Afrin or the generic equivalent..but I would go for name brand for less of a burning feeling.

Antibiotics are NOT the answer!!!!!!!!!!
Most likely you have a virus..so antibiotics will do nothing except increase your body's resistance to antibiotics..

BUT, above all! Please go to a doctor! Even without insurance and average general doctor visit does not go much past $150...but getting yourself a good doc and developing a good relationship will help you a great deal when you really need medical help--those Er docs or Urgent Care places are not the best and you would end up paying more!

Afrin.... Hmmm... I used to have a script for a nasal spray. Maybe i should see about that on Monday.

Tiger lilly..I wanted to say two things to you...
1. Laparoscopic surgery is the Bomb if you have to have a surgery..I am 100% positive it would be Laparoscopic..so barely a scar..

2. The people you talk about..are on their journey, you are on yours. Whatever bad happens to us also teaches us...so bad things have to happen...This "lesson" you are speaking of with your bladder..is not happening because someone is being mean to you..It happens because your spirit is strong enough to handle the lesson and is ready to acquire the profound the knowledge that would come with all of this..
Your friends are not yet strong enough nor are they able to comprehend a journey as enlightening as yours...

This of course is my opinion! And I actually do not base my thoughts on religion..but when you think about it..what I said makes sense, is a possibility, and accounts for the bad things that happen to people..

I hope all goes well at the specialist, I am sure it will all be ok.

You would really be surprised! 9 times out of ten it works wonder for me! Make sure you really inhale it..
