A comment and a question:
A comment to adding it to food: When they are ill enough, they won't eat. I have 5 (after loosing one) discuses with worms, and they just didn't want anything to eat. My nice dewormer bits pack it was no use of opening. There was no use of even trying to feed them. They were slow, not eating and very, very ill. They wouldn't have made it without having something to add to the water (yes, Flubenol).

A little question Paul: If Flubenol makes the parasites starve to death, how long time would that take? Only two of my discuses has started eating again, and there's absolutely something still bothering them.

It depends on whats wrong with them, if its lernea or flukes it can be a matter of hours in an aquarium. If its a pond it takes longer to work as the waters cooler.
If you think that there may still be a problem with them, its more than likely that its an egg laying parasite and that when you treted them initially, it killed the adults, but they had layed eggs and they have now hatched. Personally, when I am treating for IP, I treat the tank for 4-5 weeks to make sure whatevers in them is dead..

They have worms. I've treated them twice. But it looks like it will take some while for them to get well. And they are better than they have been, so it have worked in some way. At least two of them has started eating. But the remaining 3 doesn't seem to want food.

When I got my first batch of discus, it took them 12 weeks before they would come out and eat, they can last a long time without food.
I would treat them weekly for a few weeks and see how they do
