Wouldn't you think that non-humans might need glasses to see well, too?

You're doing your best. Continue offering earthworms.

I have an old stunted cull goldfish who has been blind for many years. I feed him sinking food in a reptile watering dish at one end of his tank. He knows feeding day and time and is usually there waiting. Sometimes he goes there on non-feeding days, but eventually gets the message that no food is being delivered and goes back to nomal activity.
Blind fish are not rare, but they are best alone as they cannot compete well with sighted fish for food. After a cleaning, get everything back in the same places. Fish do have memories and some pressure and current sensors so rarely run into fixed-position decor.

Sorry, I did not respond to one question: Don't count on me seeing anything in a forum-posted picture. Most do not respond well to my programs. Visual issues do limit some things in many forum programs. Normally I can only see very high-definition photos on the web, and those are forbidden on most forum programs as they eat storage space.
Sorry about that, but it part of my life these days.

Well something amazing happen last night.
I tossed in a clam and for the first time and I cant remember how long Dexter actually ate the clam.
I had to put it right in front of him almost touching his mouth but he ate.

I hope you're soaking whatever he'll eat in good vitamins--he's gonna need them! Try meaty earthworms.

He wont touch earthworms at all just looks at them and swims away. He has always been like that.
But I have some frozen clam strips we are going to try next and I will soak those.

Update:
Dexter doesn't move much these days comes out of his cave every now and then to play in the current.
He is eating about 2 clam strips every 2 days. He gets scared of the feeding tongs but once the clam meat touches his mouth he is all over it.
If you drop the food right in front of him he doesn't know what to do so you have to literally touch it to his mouth.
I am a little frustrated because I have him in a 210gallon tank and he never comes out
Wish I knew how to help him.
Willing to try anything to get him comfortable in the tank again.
He used to swim with authority but now not so much.
