The temp is currently at 80F, Would 82F be enough? Also how much tank water should I take out to mix salt in with?

I've put the Temp up to 84F and she seemed fine with it, so I went ahead and added the correct amount of dissolved salt, Really hope this works.
EDIT: Sorry about the double post, didn't realise

I've put an air pump in there just to get some extra oxygen flowing, she seems a lot more active atm.
Maybe I'll try her with some food later.

Thats good to hear, did you add the salt? Not much water needs to be taken out to add, its better to have it stir for a while by use of powerhead and then add into filter stream. Keep us updated!

Yeah, I've added the salt, and put it in front of the filter stream, I'll add the 1/2 Tablespoon per US gallon tomorrow (7 Tablespoons for me)
She now has plenty to explore when she gets better.

Yeah, she's moving about a lot more and has a lot brighter colour now, her tail's straight more often then not now. I'll put some more dissolved salt in today, and then try her with some food around lunch time.

Another question, using RTRs salt method for curing Ich, can I do water changes? And if so will I have to add any salt back into the water?

Yes, regular water changes are good. You need to dose the new water just as you dosed the tank. However, make sure you only add salt for the added water and not the old water

Whilst doing your w/c gravel vac thoroughly to remove as many parasites as poss, I gravel vac daily when I dealt with ich. The more you remove the better it is for your puffer
