I check craigslist nightly =( there is not much in the way of tanks or LR. I mean, there are tanks but they are beat to all hell. And its usually just tanks...not stand not light or filters....and they want 50-100 for 20-50almost gallons. Guess cali is not a big fishkeeping state. I keep checking though. Not going to stop until I get something. On a side note, probably going to get $800a for my car from pick and pull next month! That will definitely go to the new set up...muahahahahahahaha

Keep checking -- the right tank will come along! You just have to pounce as soon as you see it. My fancy goldfish are in a lovely 46 gallon bowfront that I bought from Craigslist with black pine stand, hood and lights for $100 total. Great offers come and go quickly on Craigslist, so you have to keep on it.

LoL I got hookups. My mom works for a Ford dealership. I don't think I would have gotten that much on my own, but the guy that deals with Pick and Pull has known the guy for years. My car is in decent shape...LoL it just needs a new motor LOL. Seriously though, it looks good other than that. It's so sad...no car for me. Dumb dumb me paid insurance on it for another month yesterday >< had to call and cancel it LoL

LoL yarp. Last year the timing belt broke, so we replaced the tires, the radiator (shop cracked it), the water pump, the fuel injector (shop cut a wire to it and told us we needed a new one) a tune up, fuel pump (i don't think that's the same as the injector, I am not very knowledgeable, but they told us it was different), serpentine belt, and it had the fluids flushed. This was about a year ago now....it's sad cause the shop we took it too has been servicing our cars for almost 15 years. We have never felt cheated by them before, and with my dad's plumbing shop, we spent ALOT of money there. No more though. I feel like they killed my car. I never had a problem with it until AFTER they worked on it. Keep in mind it was only the timing belt that broke, and it didn't cause a lot of damage like they can do. All of the sudden, a year later it throws a rod? Pfft. Gosh darn crooks.

Now I am transportless until Denzil get's his motorcycle working again (Hollister took a bridge down, and their employees "forgot" to put up "Bridge Out" signs, and Denzil found the bridge...) it really sucks. I am stuck at home tearing out my hair after school (and he wonders why I want another fish tank LOL), but we don't want another car until I can get something that is reliable. He keeps looking at $6-7k used cars, but shoot, if I am going to be saving that much money up, I am going to put a down payment on a new car. I want a Matrix oh gosh darn, ma! LoL

I got my 80 gallon with a light and glass tops for 100$ I just got a 180 with a stand but no lights or tops, and got it for $250. Like everyone has said... You gotta keep looking and be on a good deal like white on milk. But be sure to inspect what you're buying thoroughly. Vistit once to look at it without water, so you can see all the scratches if there are any. Also check the silicone and make sure it's not white at all, you want that stuff to be clear and clean looking. Then ask if you would be able to come back at another time to see it full of water. Thats what I do when I'm checking a tank out. I also live in an apt. complex with no tank size restrictions but I live on the top floor, so I REALLY DON'T want a tank to decide it's done holding water.

Daammmiiittt.....If I could find an extra foot of wall space, I can get a 75 gallon bow with everything for $100. My only problem is the wall: I can't make it grow. Ughh. This is torture

/gasp. And live sand...AND live rock.....$1.00/lb....omg kill me now.

Alright, so Denzil may kill me, but I emailed that guy about the tank. I magically made an extra foot of wall appear LOL. I moved some furniture around. I have just about `~50 inches of wall space, as long as Denzil doesn't mind. (Please keep your fingers crossed that he doesn't mind LoL). Only bad thing is that the tank is in Petaluma, so I will be driving quite a ways to get it. I will try to post pics up to get everyone's opinion on the tank, as I would like to know what you all think: I won't be able to just drive to see the tank without picking it up at the same time. But it is coming from a guy that runs a fish shop, so I hope it's in decent condition. "Sold AS IS's" make me nervous haha. Hopefully it won't be to bad for $100...eeeek. Wish me luck!

LoL since he is the main support. I help out with bills and a little rent and keep the house clean, etc, but he is the major bread winner. Besides, as much as I love my fish tanks and my fish, I love him more and don't want any problems between us because of a fish tank. That's when. =)
