Only half lit up , It needs 2 more lights!

Re: New tank Build !
Oh man.... that was a wonderful deal (or steal) you got on that tank!! Only in Florida.........
So do you hire out to make stands and canopies?? Seriously though... do you have some kind of barrier between the top of the tank and the wooden canopy? A friend had one that looked similar to yours and the evaporation from the tank warped the wood and condensed on her lights..... Was scary seeing the electrical get that much moisture on it.
Gorgeous set up.... I will stay tuned for further updates.

I may put a thin pice of plexiglass on the top , I did it on my 75g and has worked pretty good so far!

Re: New tank Build !
Ive ordered my pump and background on Thurday, Hopefully it will be here by next weekend so I can fill the tank.
The pump is a Lifeguard Quiet one 6000 pump( 1664 GPH I was going by the 10x your tank )
http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/p ... atid=22627 the background is gonna look pretty cool . $5.99 for a 72"x24" piece compared to the regular $2 a foot price .
Next is the base rock to build his cave and Lots of Liverock to get it cycled!

Re: New tank Build !
Lol doesn't bother me any. I usually pay my dad for materials and it takes him a year to build what i want and by then I have forgotten about it and then he will randomly bring it up and I'm like "oh yeah I forgot all about that. Sweet!"chuckfriedrice wrote:I love building stuff! My problem is when its not for me , it gets put on the back burner! LOLSalmon wrote:Can you build me a stand and canopy for a 20 long? Lol
But I would totally love to have a stand/canopy that looks like what you built. It's pretty bad buttocks.
