It's a CAE. The figure 8 is brand new and still in freshwater. He's currently in my breeder tank/temporary QT with several varieties of snails, crays, and shrimp to keep him full. His own tank (will gradually become BW) will be finished cycling sometime between Thursday and Saturday. :)

I finally caught Lola sleeping! :D Woke up last night, crept over to her aquarium, and turned on the hallway lights really fast. She was sleeping on top of the magnetic scrubby... I was so surprised I just sat there and stared at her, didn't even reach for a camera or anything. Then she woke up and swam around all excited to see me. Haha. Next time..

Thanks! He doesn't sleep much during the day. Every now and then he'll be asleep, but mostly at night. I had to almost crawl around the tank to get my camera just to get that picture. Didn't want to wake him up. lol

That's how mine is. Her aquarium is in the living room beside my desk, so even if her aquarium lights are off, she will stay awake watching me.
My bedroom door is also right around the corner of her tank, so I am curious if she can hear the door opening or something, because i swear when the entire apt is dark except for the faintest glow of street lights, I can still see her little creeper shadow looking for me..
