Try earthworms. You can dig them up from an unfertilized garden area or try bait shops, Kmart or Walomart.

I tried earthworms. Redworms too...
To no avail... He used to go absoluteley crazy over live worms, but no more.
To my despair, he passed away sometime during the night. If you told me a year ago I would cry over a fish I would have laughed. I feel like a total loser... was doing everything I could think of but to no avail. Seeing as he and Georgia shared such a close bond, for puffers, I wonder if he didnt pine away. While she was sick and until a day or two after, he was healthy if not happy. Good appetite, good colors, lots of movement. Then maybe 36 hrs after Georgias death he just stopped eating and exploring.
I will always remember my little guys.

sorry for your loss! it is tough when you have such a personable fish you try hard to keep going and thriving and then lose it. i had two GSP, one became more aggressive and would chase the other. would never bite or nip, just chase, and i rehomed the more aggressive one. the other seemed a bit off for like a week or two kind of like it missed its buddy even though he was a little bit mean

So sorry...
What are you doing to cycle the SW tank? Start a new thread on this in the SW forums.

Gosh I remember this thread... Should have read those cycling docs... I would've shaved lots of time off if I'd just plunked in that fiji LR right off the bat. It's AMAZING to me still how well live rock works for these systems above and beyond conventional FW chem/biologic filtration that I'm used to! Suddenly my livebearer community tank seems, hrm, no less complex... but commonplace, heh.
