Thank you both, Snafu is quite an entertaining puffer. Although for a while there, every morning when I'd turn on the tanks, I wouldn't be able to find Snafu, and I'd end up thinking the worse. Come to find out, he was going under the opening which leads to a sort of maze (this is a home-made tank and I think that used to be an internal filter box), and he would not be able to figure out how to get out and I would have to coax him out. That went on for several mornings in a row. Thankfully that seems to have stopped, at least for now. I will be glad when he's too big to get in there, like the rest of them. :)

But I agree, he is a beautiful puffer and I do think it's worth going to the dark side for his sake. :D

Well, it's going to be a slow process, and I will need lots of help from the forum as I know absolutely nothing about the dark side (other than it being "dark") :biglaugh:

My "mystery" puffer was renamed Alf (Alien Life Fish) because my husband says he looks like an alien, and he is rather odd looking compared to my other puffers.
Not only has this puffer "made it", but he's growing very quickly and has become one of the pack without any problems whatsoever. I don't have any updated pictures, but I will try to get some, as he is turning into quite a beautiful puffer. :)
