do you think i should treat for ips then, oyk

I def don't think it would hurt to treat - then you can have your mind at ease down the road (rather than them showing signs of advanced ips down the road, and possibly not be able to cure?)

the belly isnt as smooth as they usually are, id treat just to be safe and treating if they dont have it wont hurt em

hahaha, Bloat attacked me the other day when I was putting a clam in his tank.

How do I clean the sand? It seems like there is alot of ( i think ) poop on the sand. Should I get a catfish to pit up the scraps from their meals too? I guess that's what it could be but I still dot think hey could make that much scraps. Or poop for that matter

I've found that with airline tubing (that you'd use for an air pump) just siphon it out - stay a bit above the sand and the loose lighter particles will pull away from the sand. Sometimes, I'll stir the sand a bit, causing the loose particles to lift of, and they are easier to snatch up.

there is a video on here, but you can stir up the sand and let it settle for a min and the suction everything out. But I just run my vacuum close to the sand to let it suck up the poop but not the sand
