The guy that i bought it from told me that he has had this breed in his tank for years, and its never eaten fish. Im not too worried about it, but we will see

Soo, i got a couple TINY mushrooms. They seem to be doing good. I came home tonight though to find a bunch of lil tiny whiteish clear buglike things on my glass... what could they be? and where could they of come from?

Most likely copepods or mysis shrimp. Probably copepods. They come from your live rock. Tiny crustaceans. They are a good thing.

They usually come from your LR.

allright, so now i got some zoas. 2 little bunches of 5-7 heads. I also got a small chunk of purple polyps. My anenimoe is doing great, and everything is thriving.

Very cool. I'm gonna do the same thing with my 5.5 very soon.

its very fun. Its one of my favorite tanks right now. ((and very easy))

Got my 5.5 all set up and cycling.

A couple Feather dusters have survived so far. The one can easily be seen in this pic. The other is bright red and tiny on the same chunk of rock.

Thanks PP! Its seven pieces and they went together like they were meant to be this way. Bottom right corner is 3 pieces of fiji rubble and all the others are totoka.

Is the power head off? If not, you really need more flow, the surface of the water should be constantly agitated, it looks like glass.

That little mini actually moves the water pretty good. Its not real apparent in the pic but its definately moving. I may need to re-aim it a bit more. At the moment it swirls more than ripples. I have been experimenting where to aim the flow because the little thing will clear all the sand out of the far corner. I have read that your water movement should be 10x your capacity. So at least 55 gph in this tank. The mini is rated at 58gph so I should be ok, though I was considering another one at the opposite end. Thanks again.

My tank is pretty settled. I got a strawberry pseudochromis yesterday. I am debating what to get next on coral. I have the shrooms, the 2 little zoas, and some purple polyps. oh and my anemone

Nice. We need some updated pics. By the way, what is the green, stringy looking plant life in your nano?
