^^^ In this pic Kaleeko is such a suck, he always notices the camera(I don't use a flash) and to get a body pic I had to distract him and he is looking at me from the front of the tank while I sneak a shot from the side :D

Thanks Flutter, the water is still a bit cloudy after we added the last bit of sand.
3M Colorquartz sand S-Grade is excellent, very soft!!
I also got some peach in my 90 gallon, and have a 50lbs bag of red for my congo tank :D

Thank you very much pufferfreak42 :D He is our little water puppy! hehe

Nice! You should post pictures of those tanks too once they're done ;)

Where were you able to get that sand? I wasn't able to find any.

It's really hard to find, 3M is discontinuing it. :( Which sucks!
It's a really good product, you still need to rinse the sand as normal, and be careful, out of the 3 bags we've opened and washed, one of them had big pieces of broken glass & plastic in it.. so we sifted it through a strainer, and washed the sand. That would be my only worry with this sand. As long as you strain it, it's good to go!

We found it at Steels, they don't have all the colours unfortunately!
You can also go onto the 3M website and look-up distributors in your area

http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/e ... ducts/Buy/

is how I found it. :)

I will post pics of the 90 gallon once we've added the rest of the bag :D I would also recommend, not adding a whole bag at a time to prevent cloudy water. My congo tank isn't set up with the sand, just yet! Once it is I will post a pic as well :D

I did manage to track down a distributor in Ontario a few years ago. I think he may even have been out your way, flutter. But he wanted $80-90 a bag for black when at the time it was selling for $20 in the states. And he was a jerk, too! I ended up going with Tahitian Moon instead...

Yah, that's super expensive!! I only spent $20.00 on each bag, no matter what colour.

If you really want some Flutter, I also know another guy who has a supplier.
It's a little bit more expensive (less then $80.00 though), but he has all the colours if I remember correctly.
I'm not sure who his supplier is though.
