Do you see any white spots on his body?

If there was ich present in the tank, the increase in temperature could be speeding up it's life-cycle.

If there are visible signs of ich, you should take immediate action.

Either way, maybe you should find some melafix to add to his water in case he does scrape himself.

How often does your fish try to scratch against objects? If you're not seeing white spots, he may just be scratching...many of my fish will do this from time to time.

Your fish has been through quite a bit. With your SG up to 1.004, all you'd need to do is raise the temp. to treat for ich and do frequent water changes, but I wouldn't do it unless you see white spots.

Yeah, the rise in salinity will get rid of the ich if that's what he's got..after all the stress the poor guy's had, it'd be no wonder if he has.
Second the use of Melafix as well.

well ive seen the scratching on two different occasions and no spots so Im not going to worry about it. I am so happym, hes doing so well. I came home to see him swimming about. 80% of his bright green color is back and getting better and better every time i see him. I cant thank you guys enough for all of your help. You have been great.

Glad he's doing so well! If you've only seen scratching twice, I wouldn't worry about it.
