Are you staying with the fish keeping now.? Saw an add you posted on Aquarist classifieds selling your fish. Hope you have decided to stick with it despite everything.
All the best
yes im keeping one main tank running and selling up then ill drill all of them into a huge central system will be a lot better for bubba and co..... my idea is 2x 8x3x3's hard plumbed into a 6x2x2 sump / refrigium i may even add a few 4 foots to the same system underneath with a few sequence pumps ruinning off it. idea is to place the 8 foots in the corner to make a huge L shape with sump / 4foot holders underneath ill also attach a huge sand filter i have from my old houses pond. I am selling most of my fish sadly but i dont want the hassel of finding homes for a 18" RTC, 17-19" fire eel, 2 rays etc when im drilling the tanks so ill setup a new system and restock then. i have thought about my tanks today and water changes take me about 5 hours a week so one system plumbed into drains with a 25% drilled bulkhead in one tank with balllvalves is the way forward oh so you understand both 8 foot tanks will ajointed by one bulkhead also so i only need one 25% bulkhead and both will drain accordingly auto top up from sump. it should only take a weekend to drilll and plumb in along with making stands. makes me feel dizzy thinking about it but i believe it will look amazing. thinking about this tonight / drawing diagrams is what has kept me sane trying not to think of cutie pie to much.
the project will cost me for pipework only i imagine as i have the tanks sequence pumps etc. guys that live in the UK be warned later in the year / early next ill be getting you all over! hahahaha ill need some mussel and people with knowhow LOL
