I have noticed the bigger snails eating the geltek-treated clam or shrimp -- generally if there's something left over, anyway. They're treating themselves!

Just an update.. since it's been a while.

Stevie Ray seems to be doing quite well. He eats with gusto -- but is still not seeing as well as he should. I think he can see *something*, but I'm not sure if he really can.

I'm going to start trying to get him to feed from tongs, hopefully to make a move into a bigger tank (possibly with fish) easier in the long run. I'm still looking for somewhere to donate him.

If I think about it, I'll get some pics and post em up.

He's doing well... still blind, but still kickin. I'm actually about to do a water change on him. He eats a WHOLE shrimp as often as I'll feed him and two to three baby clams at a crack. I'd still like to find a good home for him, so if anyone has a lead for me, let me know!

I have had a fellow emailing me for the past couple days, looking for one. He's in CA & has a 4500g tank for it.

really... well.... If you'd like to direct him my way.. I'd be happy to see how we could work things out.
