Well no sweet and cuddly names here folks.
My Fahaka Puffer is called 'Killer'
Simply because he's probably the most ferocious thing i have ever seen on fins.

FEED ME, Seymour!

I don't tend to name fish, but my girlfriend likes to. Too bad we've been getting fish faster lately than she can name 'em. You can't think up a name, you see; it just has to come to you.

Of our 5 dwarfs only one has a name so far: Oscar 'cuz he's a grouch.

We've got a
longnose gar named Cyrano,
an over-fed ornate bichir named Brando,
a few bala sharks named Adam and Frank after the brothers who gave us the tank from their basement,
A red-tail shark that's mean to Adam named Erin (after a girl...),
and A BN pleco named Lennon 'cuz his face looks like a surlaW.

I do usually name my reptiles, though.

I have an Argentine Boa named Supai (the Incan god of the underworld) and his girlfriend who strangely is still nameless and usually goes by "the female." I also have 2 Colorado river toads name Little Man Super Trooper and Bessy "The wonder toad."

My 3 puffs are Larry, Curly & Moe. Larry is the leader of the pack and is always the first one to the food. Curly has a little curly line right by his eyes and he's the second one to the food. Moe is the dumb one of the three, he's normally a few minutes behind when it's feeding time. The other two will be chowing down on a mussle and he's still swimming along the glass looking at me :)

Hubby named me betta 'blue' which is original because, well, you guessed it, he's blue!

I don't name my fish, but if I did, I'd call my A. modestus "Puffy". Then I'd probably change its name to "P. Diddy". Then maybe just change its name every day.

Sorry, stupid joke.

We finally got our first D. Holocanthus after a year of reading and researching trying to figure out as much about them as humanly possible. We have had it for 2 weeks now and finally decided to name it "Kai" since it wasn't a gender specific name. It is Hawaiian for "Sea"It is already spitting at us.Frank & Shirley :D

The F8 that I had for a little while was named Crazy-8 a fitting name for her, but I had to bring her back to the LFS because of her madness....however I recently did aquire two adorable GSP's...Turbo and Bibi....I love them, and they love food, they eat krill straight from my hand.
