And to REALLY mess things up;
My first thought was T. turgidus, but after the last pictures I am leaning heavily towards T. abei.
T. abei is the only targetpuffer I've seen with multiple colored targets around the "main" target.

I remember we had a similar discussion when I got my T. abei's.
Several experienced members was quite convinced it was a T. cochinchinesis.

If I remember correctly, the more than knowledgeable Sean (who was the first to actually get his hands on a specimen) confirmed it as a T. abei.

And they are indeed changelings.
My T. abei looks a light grey most of the time, but when agitated he looks like this:

Yet; I've never personally seen this on any other puffer than T. abei.

Hi Martin.

I have been away from the forum due to excessive workload and had therefore missed the discussion around T. turgidus/M.turgidus.

I have always thought my "Frog" to be a T. turgidus and he has never shown any sign of coloration outside the "usual" colourations.

I have no idea what the puffer in question on this thread is though.. my vote would be Abei, but I'm not exactly familiar with the target puffs.
