London isn't a great place to live. Fortunately, I don't live there. I live in an area with particularly hard water which should be great for my fish but it means we get limescale in out beloved tea.

Do you have liquid-based test kits? If so, what is the tap water's hardness (calcium/magnesium hardness)?
What is the alkalinity (carbonate/bicarbonate hardness)?
What is the pH after standing 24 hours?

I have the ammo and nitrite tests but haven't got the ph and hardness ones yet. Is it urgent that i get them? should I get both?

If you plan on low-enf BW, you really need pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, carbonate hardness, pH, plus a means for testing specific gravity or salinity.
