you can if you look hard. even the boxfish have a dual layer for expansion of their skin somewhat. just requires a keen eye.

none of these fish should ever be kept by the novice fish keeper. i rank them as hard as the biggest puffers, if not harder.

most are fussy eaters, and they all pack that extra poison release punch.

sinlge species tanks for them are awesome though and sedate calm fish work well too, but always that danger.

There's a LFS near me that usually has 3 or 4 yellow box fish swimming around and they always seem to be doing fine. They're in with a whole mix of things. They're also pretty small.

They are hard to keep.From the fish store to your house.As long as you buy a healthy one that is eating and has ne disease.
