I am about to get a figure 8 today. My tank just cycled. I want to know more information about how to treat him for parasites as a precautionary measure. So from what I read above, I should soak crushed snails in the medicine for 15 minutes and then offer it. So this will not hurt the cycle? I have tetra parasite guard fizz tabs. How strong of a dose should I soak the snails in? Do I break the tab up into pieces? Please explain the details.
