I think all hobbyist will have differing opinions about your tank be comfortably stocked or may be pushing your limits too much.
Thank you for explaining that, I understand what you meant a lot more now and it definitely makes since.
I mean I like the look of the wrasse and goby I had in mind (either or) and thought either might help clean up scraps from the puffer eating. However, the other fish are ones I definitely want in the tank so its not a big deal to me if that mean I'm stocked. And even waiting to add another if I find one I 'must have'.

There are two LFS, Petland at the mall, and Petsmart about an hour from me. I'm not sure what other localized fish store may be in surrounding towns.
But the one LFS I have been dealing with more (and will be getting clowns from) isn't even listing the puffer from their suppliers site, not just out of stock, so I'm not sure if they even get them or not. I know I have asked about other items and when they weren't in the catalog I was out of luck, so I don't have much hope there.
I can and will ask the other LFS but when I spoke with them beforehand they sounded even more limited on what they can get even though they actually keep saltwater tanks in store.
So its possible but pretty doubtful.
I believe I'd be equally happy with Canthigaster papu but again the only site that has them in stock is saltwaterfish.com and I've found this one ebay as well.

What town do you live in? If I were you, I'd drive over an hour to find the fish. It would be way easier on the fish,than being transported in the cold this time of year, in a little box. I'd check with all the larger towns around you. Many fish stores will order the fish you want. You might want to even check to see if PetSmart or Petland will do that for you. Some do. I know PetCo does that.

I don't have a problem driving a bit and you're right, it'd definitely be better for the fish. I'll have to look into what sorts of fish stores are in some neighboring cities. I wouldn't think any store would have a problem ordering the fish I want its just if they are available for them to, I mean thats the issues with the LFS here.

I noticed that liveaquaria had both listed but out of stock. I did sign up for them to email me when they are in stock.

Oh that I do know. I don't know anything else about Diver's Den or if there is anything else to know.
I looked through their listings in Diver's Den yesterday I believe.
Also, I am still searching online and came across this listing on Petco. Unfortunately they don't list the full name so I'm not sure since its labeled Pink Spotted Puffer and I have yet to see that common name when referring to the Canthigaster bennetti but because of its coloring, thats really what it looks like to me (without getting too technical).I definitely could be mistaking especially since being so new to this.

LOL, they posted a pic of a puffer that probably died the next day of either starvation or IPs!
I just had one of those. Killed by a Foxface.

Yeah the one pictured definitely didn't look good but I was just confused on the name, especially since they don't list the full scientific name.

Same as one in the link? Foxface are pretty fish, one I would like to have but know that won't be happening anytime soon.
I've called the two LFSs but won't know until tomorrow whether or not either store can get either puffer.
As far as the toby puffers go I know one LFS can get me Canthinigaster leoparda, thats the only one their supplier has in stock. Not sure what other tobies the other LFS might be able to get.
I do, and the solondri is actually in stock at bluezooaquatics.
