It's ok a simple "I wasn't calling you a thief and I appologize will work." Things must work different in Canada.

We're on the same page here. Just reading it differently. I was never mentioned "thief". I am all for what you are doing. In a world where verbal tones can't be measured, don't get offended by someone taking something the wrong way. It happens more than you think.

When that happens we clarify our positions. As in, I didn't know your fish were sick to begin with, thus the discount. Vice-versa, in the previous post you could have mentioned why you got a discount.

You may feel this is trivial but believe me it is not. Small details when dealing with sick fish can be a life changer.

I would love to rehome mantis shrimps, as it's not there fault they where taken out of the ocean in there live rock homes, then when most people realise they have one, they try to catch them then kill them, or send them to there LFS and most of them kill them, unless it's a peacock mantis shrimp.

We had a mantis baby arrive in some live rock (along with a porcelain crab, and many other wonders, which I love and lives happily in my main display) and we just set up his own tank and he is as much fun to watch as my other fish including my puffer, sometimes even more, he is brill and easy to care for. I just wish more people would realise this.

Also most mantis shrimps are harmless and can live very happily in a main display, the reason we moved ours was because he was scared of our clowns as he was so tiny, now he is over 2 inches long and has never hurt a fish (we have a few times put a fish in with him for a very important reason, but I won't go in to that).

When I was importing it was sometimes much more. Porcupine puffers sometimes came for about 1$ prior to import and around 4-5$ past flight and airport.

In my opinion a TRUE rescue is not paid for, if you pay for a sick fish it's not a rescue, it's a bargain.

That's probably true, consider it ransom lol.
