Ok will do. How would I feed it?

Also on a side note what methods are there of quieting down my sump/overflow box drainpipe?? It's driving me nuts! Haha

Sumps are loud. All you can do is have a little foam at the bottom to stop splashing.

I'd say you should monitor it for a week before moving your fish over.

That's what i'll probably end up doing, I can't wait to move them over right now my puffers are really small, about 1" maybe 1.5", how long's the growth cycle for them?

In the meantime though while there are no fish in there I'm trying to find any method to quiet down the sump, it seems excessively noisy and the tank is unfortunately right by my bed, it feels like chinese water torture haha just playing. I've been researching and found something called a durso standpipe for the overflow? Anyone used one of these ever? Cuz I have a hanging overflow and I don't know if it'd be compatible with those

How long have you had them, and how much have they grown since you purchased them? I can't offer much advice on the sump thing other than look up ways to keep it quit on Google. I can completely understand the water noise in the bedroom; all of my fishtanks are in my room.

I've had them for a little over a month maybe. They don't seem to have grown very much, if anything they just look a little chunkier haha yeah I've been experimenting how to keep it quiet with different standpipe designs and whatnot.

Well growth rate varies per puffer. Some grow very fast and others don't. Most of the time they will grow 2-3inches quite quickly and then slowly grow the rest of their life. However, it's speculated that there are subspecies of the GSP and some are small and others reach the 6" size. We have had a few members here whose GSP stayed very small even though it was properly cared for. So, it's really a wait and see sort of thing

alright so here's a pic of my tank what do you guys think? how does the rock look? healthy? too much? too little? lacks structure? im not sure of course with my inexperience, i wanted input from vets such as yourselves lol
