Christie, more info on palembang puffers. Even read that some can even live in groups. Pretty cool for mid sized puffers. And those chubby guys should not be too hard to spot across the livingroom...lol

I can no longer drive, and only barely walk. But I can Python and pump water around. My glass cleaning is not what it used to be either... PT keeps me mobile, and 4 eye doctors keep what vision I have tuned up to decent levels (soon I have to add a fifth eye Dr., for specialized sunglasses). Steps are strangely not a problem, ramps are pretty tricky. Uneven sidewalks are impossible. I may not see the irregularities well enough to avoid them or compensate for them. Dog walking is no longer an option. I do miss dogs.

Bertie, I have a cunning plan for stone-stealing! Take a picnic, and take the dog as a "distraction" so whilst eating our lunch, I can carefully sneak pretty looking stones into the picnic basket and everyone will be too busy looking at the cute ickle doggy to notice.... It's foolproof!! lol.

Poor thing, if I do get caught I hope they don't lock him up in doggy-prison as an accomplice!!

Back to the puffers! I'm leaning towards a group of irrebesco still. But I've looked up a bit of info on Axys and they can live in a planted tank as long as the plants are well rooted before they go in. So...many...choices...!! Ah!

Head east to saltdean, prettier beaches, also quieter. Less people and patrols. Plus free parking.

Just the same. Our council buys them and puts them all along the Sussex coast, not my cup of tea but there we go. They do make great lawn edging. Er I mean would lol

Yeah those irrebesco are cool lil guys from all the pics that I have seen. Never owned any but if I had a set-up like yours and already had my to dream FW puffer (which I have both top 2 and still yet gotta get my last one sometime in the near future and have extra tanks) I would go with those lil irrebesco myself. Love the zebra stripes on these guys.
