This whole time I was thinking of albino dojo loachs, which are DISGUSTING. Khulna though look really quite and gentle!! You said 4"?? That's actually really small!!

Of course it applies to the fish world. Fish reach puberty long before they are full size. Their growth rate slows markedly after that, especially for puffers. But fish never stop growing, while most critters do.
