MY GSP's and F8's will eat flake. I don't feed them that, but if I do, they eat it.

My GSPs are spoiled, they wont take anything but fresh seafood. They will take anything in their mouth, but spit it out.

yeah, put some more snails in today, the little ones were gone in a gulp and the larger ones ( we are talking the difference between the pin head and a pencil eraser) are still crawling around. i have a ready supply of all sizes. ill pick up some bloodworms. i fed them the flakes because he showed NO interest in the shrimp or the snails. he chomped up a small ones today :)

i added crushed coral (man does that stuff EVER run clear?) some plastic plants and a few large shells for hiding places.

im pooped. calling it a night :)

Be sure to remove uneaten snails as your SG rises. They won't survive. Nothing will foul a tanK faster than dead snails!

i didnt see some of those comments about the flake food... but yes, to my dismay they are eating flake foods... one turned his nose up at shrimp!!

so bad news, this morning i found 2of3 was stuck to the intake this morning. i was sure he was dead but he wasnt... so i hung him in a net suspended near the top of the tank. :( his colour looks dull and his belly is flat. he was the fat one that hasnt eaten... COULD possibly be 3of3 but he looked so healthy yesterday.

the only thing i changed is i did a water change of 10g with 1tbs/5g marine (set in a bucket for 2 hours with a bubble rock)
and i added 10lbs of crushed coral. i rinsed the best i could but have you ever seen a 38week pregnant lady hanging over a bath tub?? took me an hour to get it is clean as i did. it wasnt running PERFECTLY clean but pretty close. it clouded the water slighty but not enough i couldnt easily see the fish.

anyway, gotta run the kid to school. thanks a bunch!!
