What makes you think he's a moor or a butterfly species?

He's got the right bodyshape & tailfins for a moor... And I know this isn't infallable, but he was labeled as one, haha.
Are you talking about his eyes? Their eyes don't get the big "popped" look until they are older.

Does she have a name?

Yep! A whole lot of name, as it turns out. Originally started calling him Harley, it's just what came to mind. But by the time we got home I was calling him Ludwig, like Ludwig van Beethoven. So I started calling him Ludwig von Wilsonson (since Beethoven has three syllables and Wilson only has two... extra "son"). So now his name is Harley Ludwig von Wilsonson.

But I'm just calling him Ludwig.

Oh, no, we didn't wind up with the 55 u__u it's a 22, haha.

I think my new fella is lonely. He sits with his face in the corner all day, under the plants, except to come out & eat. I'm getting 6 cories on Wed. Maybe they'll cheer him up! At the minimum, they'll clean up his mess... No GF tank mate, until next year.

Aww that's sad! Mine was a little hesitant the first night & yesterday, but not really sulky... Today he is a lot more active, exploring the decorations and picking at everything. He swims into the lantern's windows and through the dragon's mouth, it's pretty funny!
Why no GF til next year?

I'm waiting for GFC to get in a good-looking calico ranchu. He told me he'll have some the beginning of next year.
