I guess I could give it a shot with my DPs but they are alone in a 10 gallon and I think since I have 3 garras that may be too much for the tank.

Albie had a snack. I found only the head of one of the garras when I got home today, and his belly is pretty full.

So I have 3 of these panda garras now... This morning I could only find one, and I noticed one missing yesterday, now two are missing. Turns out they some how managed to jump up into my HOB aquaclear filter... and under all the filter media, at least one was, the other was in where the water pumps into originally, so It baffles me how the hell they were able to jump/swim up into it, crazy stuff.

oh lol, yeah I had 3 and while they were in the puffer tank, something killed one, and I bought another one, because the two alone were picking on each other, but as a group of 3 they don't pick at all, they sometimes line up on the glass and chill, problem is they are in a 10 gallon with my two DPs, which is why I'm switching my 20 long back to freshwater, thinking 20 would be just fine for the 2 DPs and 3 garras, the garras are just too cool to get rid of lol. My 10 is going to be my new Red Cherry Shrimp home.

Maybe put a prefilter on your hob to make sure they are not getting sucked up?

Also are they a river fish that instinctively swims upstream? maybe that is why they jumped into the filter lol

Yeah I'm thinking about trying to put a metal mesh frame to cover the opening so water can still come through. It's insane how they swim up there. Good thing they were only in there for a day
