But what would happen when the snails are dropped in my puffers tank where the salinity is higher? Are they ok to feed to a puff in SW?
i really dont know... i know theyre fine in figgys sg of 1.005

There is nothing live in bagged sand. Get plain pool filter sand & save your $$$ for the LR, protein skimmer & power heads.

Yeah, after enough research and people telling me live sand is bogus. I'm just gonna get aragonite, and some live rock and let the rock plant the sand.

haha thats ok if the thread is hijacked, won't last for long. This is kinda like a diary type thing, I'm going to post regular updates on equipment I've purchased along with pictures. I think the censoring system is hilarious!

But I do have a question. There is a Titanium heater on CL in my local area, it says that its for a 160 gallon tank, but is the same price as the heater I would need if I bought brand new. The heater is a JBJ T3-800 True Temp Heating System w/ Controller for $120. If I bought the heater brand new I would get the 500 and it would be $160. Is this heater too gnarly for my 80gal?

Wow, I'm not sure. I just got aqueon heaters, they have a low $$ and I consider the temp stable.
I could never pay that much for a heater, I'm on a budget.

Well I've read that glass heaters' quality begin to deteriorate after about a years time, but I have been miss informed before. This thing is digital tuned, and is titanium. Much better investment as far as heaters go in the long run if my info is correct.. It may be expensive now, but better now when I have the money to make my tank as legit as possible for my puff.
