really? my big momma is just a lil over 2". She's the momma of all the other mollies.
She killed the daddy after getting knocked up
Now her babies are starting to do the mating dance
the really sick part is that all the boys are trying to get it on with mommy.
She must have had about 120 babies just from that one mating.
I kept removing them and giving them to my LFS. 2 months ago I decided to leave a few in there. She hasn't had anymore since.
She still gets pregnant every month, but never gives birth.

Yeah, I'm glad the tanks are finally clearing up. The levels will hopefully level out now.
It was either too many snails, overfeeding or it just finally cycled.
I still need to work on the 40g though. LOTS of snails. I took out about 2000 tonight I'd say.
I fed about 20 of them to the puffers and through the rest in the snil tank.
I can see the black gravel now
But, I still have about 5000 to go prolly.
I'm hoping the dojo loaches will grow fast so they can start eating 'em.
