but how long will that small percentage allow their food to fatten up lol. occasionally mine paces up and down the glass in his corner,he shows his teeth. is this normal? i think he may be begging for food not sure tho lol

PP, which fahaka killed your electric blue jack dempsey? I remember seeing the chewed up jack dempsey in earlier post.

That's Filbert, the only fahaka I've ever had. Some fish he just doesn't like but then there's the pair of 17 year old elephant noses he could have eaten he never bothered when I introduced them to his tank 3 years ago.

Last friday a coworker of hubby brought a huge crab for kaya to eat. It was already deep frozen.
Since it was so big we decided to slam it in 2. Well i never saw something that nasty.

Normally we feed her scissors i get frozen from the market and the innerside of those are nice white and meaty.
From that big crab the scissors where also white but the crab itself was really yuck.

Is it normal when u defrost a crab that the innerside of it is brown and mushy, more like mud?

No, it should be white & flaky. Sounds rotten.

Glad i decided to chop it in 2 instead of throwing it in whole. Needless to say i threw the crab away because i didnt trusted it.
