That Fluval heater, is it the M series or the E series. Reason I ask because I still have to return my Marineland Stealth Pro heater to PetSmart and they have the Fluval M-series and thought about exchanging for one of the 300 watt.

Hi fade2black,
Mine is the E200 which I have in a 36 gallon freshwater tank. It is rated for up to 65g but why not. The only time the temp has ever dropped below the set range was during a 25% wc. Oops. But went back up quickly. Another nice feature is that my amazon sword plant that is growing very close doesn't get burned anymore. Which is always a plus.

Cool. Yeah I like that heater guard on the E series but wow they are pricey to be just an aquarium heater.
