Sometimes they take a long time to die. They may even stop moving and appear to stop breathing. You might want to consider euthanasia.

The clean water may perk him up, might start his recovery...but be prepared for the worst. Once damage has been done, it is hard to un-do it. In other words, another water change would not hurt and is worth a try.

Sadly, about half an hour after the water change, my little baby pased away :-(:-(

the other two are ok, still swimming about and acting normally, no less spots though :-(

If they die I am just gonna strip tank and sell it, I can't go through this again with em :-(

I figured that one might pass. :(

What's the temp now? Are you still adding salt with every water change? Add Melafix to help sooth/heal the skin damage done by the parasites.

Temp is approx 88...yes I have replaced salt with each WC.

How much Melafix, I'm scared of that stuff with these fish. I have removed about 5 litres of water to allow the filters to cascade into the tank so roughly 55 liters of water in there atm...

The other two are still going strong, they look almost a bit fuzzy today if that makes sense, still spotty but like a white mist around them...They have been hunting for snails this afternoon, such characters and a pleasure to watch, i just want them better x

I use 1 drop/g. Add an airstone or make sure there is good flow for O2 exchange.

There is already an air stone in there and judging by the way plants are moving there is very good water flow in the tank.

So I would add 14 drops?
