+1 She should be covered under that if she isn't under OHIP. Also remember for tax time that all of your traveling counts as a medical expense. Maybe talk to an accountant to see if your hospital and food bills are as well. Also, document all receipts well and keep a journal or something so you can get the most money back.

There is a door charge of $5 and of that $1 goes to you and all proceeds from the food / drink concession.

Who gets the other $4?

the other bands get $2 and $2 goes to equipment rentals and gas

well it seems as if we will be heading back a day early, doc called and they informed me that after looking at the scans they did on friday the ventircal is starting to get blocked again, so they want her back so then can put in a shunt before the radiation starts on wed.

We could use some prayers and good thoughts guys, another surgery .

sophia is doing good, but she is a bit lethargic but very aware.

I will update you all when i get more info.

sorry about the lack of updates, been a bit busy. as you can well imagine?

We are well into the radiation, shes had 5 treatments, she has a total of 30. She is doing well, money is getting tighter, i didnt realize how much this was all gonna cost,
i hope this doesnt bankrupt me again? stupid cancer.

We currently have 10 bands and 300+ confirmed. It is going to be a biggie. If I can, I will take some vids but I'll be mostly on the grill. I would like a quick vid of each band and the Harley smoke off and put it all together but I don't know if that will be feasible. I'll do my best!

We got the e-mail and I forwarded it to the organizer for approval. It looks like the MC will read it out but I'm not certain when. I will try to push for it just before the Harley smoke off

Site prep .. 2 days to go and too much to do:

We are still framing the stage and have to clear out a lot of cut brush.

Here are pics of what the site is looking like so far. I'm not 100% happy with it.. the guys (the main band) have been pretty lax at getting things done. They come for an hour a week for the last 3 weeks. It all comes down to tomorrow and I have to prep for cooking.

And the "nephew of the singer" accidentally smashed some of my glass panes with a weed whacker and failed to mention that yesterday... what an idiot
