Vaseline is cheap, and although I'm not a huge fan of it - it seems like it would make the background really seem like it was on the inside, or part off the glass even.

PPG, is that product something that makes the background permanant?

I am really not certain, I will have to try and find it and read what it says. I ordered it, got it and then put it somewhere not even trying it out. I will let you know when I find out more about it.
