kind of vitamins do you guys use in your puffer food? Is there a "general" vitamin formula that you can just add to any food or do you use multiple bottles of stuff??

You can use a net to bring it to the top of the front or side glass..then grab it gently from behind.

yeah

I'll make sure to keep her under water during the process, we'll see how it goes...

I force fed the GSP 3 days ago and it hasn't appeared to help. Now her belly is completely black from the stress and she's swimming around less and less. I added a turbo snail to the tank, hoping it would interest her...no luck. Should I keep force feeding every now and then?? I have a feeling the end is near :(

So sorry, how's her weight? Are her eyes sunken in?

her eyes aren't sunken in yet but her weight has gone down considerably, still, she doesn't look as bad as some puffers I've seen in LFS before. Water change time today, maybe force feed again, we'll see....

well

I force-fed her 3 different times over the last 2 weeks and then lo and behold, last night she actually ate some shrimp!!!! :D I fed her a little less than I usually did before she went on her "diet", but didn't know if I should just feed her like I did before she quit eating or what. Her belly is pretty sunken in and I didn't know if she should ease back into eating or if I should just feed her "all I can" since she's finally back in the mood. Any suggestions?

Awesome news! I would just feed her what she will consume in a few minutes. The last thing you need now is a water quality problem!
