I'm pretty content with getting the GSP now, I think...I just wanna get everything for the tank before I get the puffer which will definitely take some time...

And in that time, I'm going to do more research!

My 33 looks to small for my GSP and its only about 3 inches long. There is no way i could keep him in there forever. Especially when he's 6" long and 8" around.

How many figure-8's could fit in a 29gal BTW? 2? With the bumble bee gobies?

I really couldnt tell yah how fast they grow. Although there was a thread on here with people posting there GSP's growth and conditions, they were all over the place some peoples seemed to get big quick and others took a while. I have had mine for a couple months i would guess and he has grown about an inch maybe just a little over. Im sure one GSP in the 29 would be fine for some time but my little guy is everywhere and it just seems really snug.

You're right with 2. The rule stated with bumblebee gobies is 1 per 10cm diameter, this is more for territory as they don't eat much so they don't provide a lot of waste

EDIT: 1 per 10cm diameter relates to the surface area of the base of the tank

Ok...sooo...

I have some fake corals and was planning to get a few more and then some fake plants which will complete my vision for what a brackish tank should look like...

I'm atleast 90% sure I want a GSP now...they are just too adorable to pass up!

This is going to be "High-End" brackish....so it should work out...

Since my 55gal comes first right now and is going where the 29 was, plans for the 29 have been...postponed...until I can get the new stand for the 29. Which will be after I get my new light, glass lids, & gravel for my 55gal... And probably even longer cuz I want a new table for my 5.5gal...

Hopefully it won't be that long...

I'd go for the 75g - remember PP's 55g with the two GSP's. They outgrew even that so far as I can work out.

A 75g with plastic coral looks perfect. For life.

I'm off to make up water for my lot now

I'm going full marine with my two GSP's in a 240l (think that's about 60g) but I already have 40kg of LR and a big skimmer. That'll save on the water changes

Wonder if they'll eat the damsel I have?!

I'm going to do a 75 instead and have a Ceylon Puffer & a Green Spot Puffer...

Both are AWESOME.

Once my Ryukins are gone[what the 29 is going for], I'm going for either a SAP, a Congo, or another brackish tank with the originally planned F-8/BBG's...

We'll see how it works out!

That's exactly what I'm doing Less salt expenditure and I can hopefully add my damselfish.

I was thinking about a tomato clown, too but don't think I quite have enough space in my tank.

Tom clowns get about 6".

As much as I really hated to say bye to my GSP plan, I did because there is no way I wanna look after a 75 and/or a HEAVILY bioloaded [lol] 29gal.

My plan is back to the F-8 & bumble bee gobies.

I'm officially in the safe zone in all of my tanks:

55gal -> 99% stocked
29gal[Brackish] -> 81% Stocked
10gal -> 79% Stocked
5.5gal[Nano-Reef] -> 96% Stocked
