Dual 250w MH 14k. SPS's are eating it up. Leathers are liking it too. Big difference from the PC's i was using.Mek0ng wrote:500watt on ~46 gallons!? Gheeze what kinda lights?jdak wrote:I have 500w on 174L which is a lot.
Is that a 48" tank? Just wondering, because I though one 250 watt on a 36" would be more than enough.jdak wrote:Dual 250w MH 14k. SPS's are eating it up. Leathers are liking it too. Nope, its a 36" with a support brace in the middle. I know it's overkill but the dual 150w was not available unless i went elsewhere and spent more money. Plus i figure i technically could use it on a 48" tank if i ever upgraded.Mek0ng wrote:Is that a 48" tank? Just wondering, because I though one 250 watt on a 36" would be more than enough.
I realy understand... but 300.. that is the money i have for a hole year.. but than shoes, clothes and more like that stuffSammyDee wrote:I really like my T5 HO i just got. Everything built-in, timers, moonlights, one powercord for 8 sets of lights. EAsy and clean looking. It was 300$ but totally worth it. Ive seen em online for 275$ US dollars
Look for the stuff that you would use to repair a window screen, the type to keep bugs out, cut it into strips the size of your tank, layer on a few layers (I dont think there is a rule of thumb, but check reef central or something), and every few days take another off.bauk wrote:I've tried to find stuf for screening the light
