Sorry Tiger, Wharf Aquatics is a LFS down in Nottingham, which today, had quite a few puffers in, so it was a good trip. :D

Kilofey, that story about the crayfish made me laugh, so funny!

Shame you are not nearer to leicester Tigerlily as my lfs will take volunteers on as he takes on alot of students who need work experience.

also if you were anywhere near london or leicester i could probrably arrange a job in a restaurant.

have you tried doing more volutary work to boost up your cv..local rspca or even ask lfs if they want volunteers. :D
I have 2 water water pugs that own me!!

I was thinking about that.. asking if they need volunteers, I might do it soon :)
Then hopefully after a while they might hire me, maybe not but even if they didn't I'd atleast have experience.

Flutter, I think you might be over-qualified...and you'd spend more on gas than you'd make (not my department...everyone starts at min.)...but I'd welcome the resume...

Over-qualified? In this economy? So many students are having problems getting jobs. So many of my friends haven't even gotten a single interview. Take the best ones you can get at the lowest price  I'd much rather drive a bit more than be forced to work at a fast food joint (though I'm still hoping to get an 'academic' job it's not looking too good). The drive isn't bad either, about 35mins to your place I think.

I'll send you my resume in a few days and you can let me know what I can delete (though a lot of my experience is in landscaping so you never know) ;) Doesn't hurt to chat about future possibilities :)

Visited my Fiance in the Berkshires in Mass... ate too much at Applebees... posted too much while really tired on TPF... think that sums it up.

Yesterday (Sunday) was a really pretty day, so we thought we'd go out and visit an LFS that we'd never been to. I opened the sunroof and was enjoying the day. We got to the LFS and it wasn't so much fish, as a bit of everything store. I was just getting into looking around seeing what they had when I got the most awful feeling come over me and I hurried outside, which was a good thing to do. I vomited yet again! :jitters:
I don't know what is wrong with me this week, but I have not been very well and every time I think I'm getting better, I'm not. I've been putting my water changes on hold while I'm feeling so horrible, but I can't keep them on hold forever. So am hoping I can get something accomplished today, but not sure how it's going to go because so far I'm still not feeling very good. I am so tired of feeling sick!!! :notimpressed:

Oh and now the vet phoned and said our cat can't be spayed today because theres an emergancy, 3 cats have been poisoned so they need to try save them, which is obviously more important cause our cat can't get pregnant anyway.. she doesn't go out, so that's oki :) I hope the cats are ok.
