Congratulations Busybones! I'm sure you will be very happy with your turgidus.
It never ceases to amaze me how people will feed puffers other fish because they think if one eats a fish, they all must. I think it just contributes to the aggression of the fish. If you are giving it another fish as food, then how can it ever think of another fish as anything but food?
Anyway, it will be nice to see the pictures of your new boy. Got any names in mind?
Thanks! When I got up this morning I turned the lights on and sat next to the tank. He came out and up to the glass and said hello I put a cray in last night and it has "disappeared" so at least he's eating..He seems well adjusted and healthy. No name yet. But I have a few in mind.
Yay! Pictures soon, once he's settled in - pleeease???
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."
Aw, the tail picture is cute. I always think it's so funny when fish are hiding and their tails are sticking out.

Named mine Leon after the lead character in the movie "The Professional", he's a real sweet assassin.
"Darwin swings...annnnnnd a miss. Boy Jim, Chuck's suffered at the plate tonight. He's 0 for 3 and I'm not sure he's recovered from that shoulder pull a few weeks ago. I'll bet the front office is re-thinking that contract."
Odd place for this post to be ("How do I take a virus off - when not even Norton detects it") --- did someone stick it here by mistake? And why are all these posts getting combined together anyway? I think it's confusing having two topics combined.
IDK PP? I moved this post from general to FW puffers because I got him and no longer needed help IDing him..Is that what you are talking about? I know zilch about virus'?

Must have been some glich because earlier today, when I posted that message, there was a post just above mine about some person who was asking how to get rid of a virus when Norton isn't acknowledging it. I just thought it was strange to see that post here amongst these comments about your turgidus. Like I said, must have been a glich because it's gone now.

Ok PP...i'll get him one soon. I looked the day before I picked him up but couldn't find any that I liked. Will have to wait until I go to PetSmart this weekend. He is really active and stays out a lot. I'm glad of that I don't think I could be happier with him, he's a great puffer.
