1 french angel, 1 snowflake eel, 1 blue throat or humu trigger, 1 dog face puffer, and i think im going to go with the yellow tang and i still havent decided what wrasse.

I was aiming it more at Arothron Junkie cause he was looking for some.

Tommy, Just curious, how old are you?

Tommy, I have a dogface puffer (see avatar) and had both a yellow tang and a mild-mannered Huma trigger (3 1/4"). I say mild-mannered because he let me pet him and overall didn't bother the other fish.

I thought I had a happy family until I saw a change in my puffer's attitude. The Huma just went nuts at feeding time-they're very fast swimmers. I started to see my puffer spend more time on the bottom sleeping. I felt so sad because I really had become used to my puffer watching me and begging for my attention (and food), but I assumed that it was tired of watching me.

To make a long story short, the Yellow Tang fell in love with the Huma and followed it everywhere doing the 'sex dance' as my wife calls it, all day. The Huma finally got frustrated and the poor tang got stressed. I moved the Huma to another tank and was amazed to see my puffer come back to life, instantly.

Moving that Huma was the best thing I could have done. My puffer heartily agrees. No more aggressive fish in that tank.

And yes, the puffer gets plenty to eat. I feed my fish by hand and they take turns (except the Huma). I had to throw his food in the corner and play 'fetch' with him. The Huma would try to snatch the food away from the other fish.

Also, my puffer chews on the live rock and tries to eat the Blue-leg hermits.

Moral of the story: IMO decide what's more important to you. Do you want to have a wonderful, happy, responsive dogface or would you enjoy a full tank with a possibly agressive trigger? I have my answer.

idk the patterning is slightly off, may ba an athron mappa or the mappa puffer. they have that marking as well.

several arthons have that striped pattern in various hues etc.

I have yet to positively identify the species 100%, but I've been told and my research on the Internet leads me to believe he's a Arothron manilensis. Looks exactly the same as The Puffer Forum's puffer on the banner.

Isn't the Tetraodon lineatus (fahaka puffer) a freshwater fish? Sorry fresh to brackish water. Looks a little similar, but my guy's saltwater for sure. I appreciate your input, though. If you find any pictures of this exact puffer on the net, please let me know. I'd be grateful.

Jager, I looked up your suggestion as well (Arothron mappa). Definitely not mine. The mappa's face is longer. Keep tryin'.

heh it is quite a bit harder to see your puffer as the mouth takes up alot of valuable info space. get a side or semi profile shot up and i think i can narrow it down pretty well.

You have a great look Arothron reticularis.

ok got it narrowed to one of two, but you either need to post up a pic of him in profile (head to tail sideways)
or somethign else for me to be sure.

95% sure its this guy Arothron reticularis based on several key points. and the fact i blew your avatar up for greater detail.
