I cant blame you about the whole live shipping thing... I recently got some DPs online as well and one of them was so stressed, he never recovered. :( The other two seem quite happy, though. I've heard of many happy endings coming from live shipping, I think its rare for a fish to ever die during or because of shipping.

If you're in the Tampa area, the only place I know that ever carries them is Marine Warehouse, which is about 1.5 miles away from Veterans Expressway. They only carry them sometimes (when they can get them from their distributor), so I would call ahead to check. They get new shipments of fish every Thursday. Places like PetSmart and PetCo USED to carry them, but I called all the ones in my area and they dont carry them anymore.

I used AquariumFish.net for mine... ThatPetPlace.com used to carry them (cheap, too!) but it appears that they don't anymore.
Goodbye Chekov! I'm sure you will be happy in your new home.

Yeah, allright, well, I'm about two hours from the Tampa area so that's out of the question anyway... I guess I'll get them online...

Hey FrogkiPuffer. Its not that anyone wants to know your actual address, its just that people on this forum are from all over the world & when you ask where you can get a particular fish, I could say there are some in the lfs near me - but I am in the UK, with no way of knowing where you are, except from what is on your profile! If you see what I mean! :D

I had my halfmoon betta shipped to me from Kansas, and he did great. *shrug* Shipping can be fine, as long as they are prepared and packaged well.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

It was funny to watch the little blennie scooters move inch by inch along the sand lol... And the pink and white gobbie kept going out and swimming backwards into his little burrow, I watched him agonizingly, even if I had a reef set up he was in the display only tank... But yeah, they had anenomes for sale, along with corals and a bucnh of cool fish... If I get a reef set up or any form of marine tank set up, I'm so getting one of the scooter blennies... The owner had been in the hobby for a long time and was very knoladgeable... It was a salt water only so I couldn't have bought anything anyway... But when I get a reef or marine set up going, I'm buying from him lol...
