They've gotten rid of the fish sections at all the Walmarts here I believe. I know the one by me phased theirs out a while ago. Though now its just the LFS that usually are misinformed.

It Breaks my Heart to see the Puffers in the Wal Mart near me. Like so many others i saw them was miss informed and picked up a couple. However the Walmart near me had 1 lady who was awesome and took advise and accually helped alot of the fish there she started taking live Ghost shrimp and feeding the puffers after i donated about 15 one day.

However one day i went in and she told me the Managers were getting upset and she got moved, never saw her back there.

Uh, for some reason, I keep going to look, even though I never buy anything and never would because buying only makes them order more and continue the cycle. I stand there, and I don't know whether to laugh or cry at their total lack of knowledge! I really don't know why I keep stopping since even their food and supplies suck. About the only things that are worth buying are the airline tubing and maybe some decor or filter media.

This is what my Walmart has to say about their GSPs: Green spotted pufferfish are great community fish... accept all types of flake food... and dont grow very large. Sometimes I just wnna tell them about how their killing all these fish that they are selling, but I don't think that they would really like to be educated by a ninth grader. Get this: my walmart gets their info on fish form their on hand fish encyclopedia, which was written in the 70s.

Mine says that they get to six inches (yay!) and "may nip fins." It also says that it is brackish, but they say that you should use aquarium salt, and they say that it's optional.

Welp, Yours is closer than any others to being right. Atleast they can be happy about that.
