Oh eww! Haha. That must be one interesting thing to see! I guess it's safe to say, don't eat green snow along with yellow snow? :D
I think as long as Puffy is acting and looking normal, I'll leave him be. I'm sure he's getting sick of all the treatment. 1/2 way through the ip treatment week, he started to refuse food soaked in medicine. I was worried that he was too sick but then tried dropping a piece of shrimp in w/o the medicine and he ate it happily.

They will do that. My cat's do the same thing. :D Try not to worry too much. I know it's hard after having a sick puffer. After you've had it for a while you'll learn when they don't feel good. :D They are truley amazing.

I really hope so! I'm so clueless about everything right now! Lol. But I definitely do agree, they really are amazing. You really seem to know your puffers well which is so awesome. :D Hopefully I'll get this poo situation figured out soon. Puffy's sleeping right now but I peeked in and noticed some weird poo again. I felt the need to get a picture of it and annoy Puffy on top of it. Haha. Will you let me know if this is normal? Thank you. <3

From the picture that still looks like ip's to me. :( I would do another treatment. But you could always get a second opinion, wait for someone else to answer.

Bummer! :( Here's another one of how I found him this morning. He's still acting fine and his belly looks okay too but his poo just keeps worring me! Should I try a different type of medication? (I had Jungle's Parasite Clear before.) If so, what would you recommend? :(

I was looking around online and found some recommendations for this stuff (I know the article in the library talks about it too):
http://www.seachem.com/Products/product ... azole.html

Here's the site talking about it:
http://www.myfishtank.net/forum/freshwa ... sults.html

Do you guys have any opinions on it? I really dont think the stuff I used before worked since I've already tried treating him twice with that stuff and I see no improvement on the poo. :( The ingredients included both praziquantel and metronidazole and I used the full dose (the whole tablet) every 2 days and did a wc every 2 days as well as the instructions indicated. I dont understand why both the ick and the ip are being so difficult. :( (As for the ich, I noticed that there are a couple spots on his body by his eyes and his fins/gills.)

Thanks so much! I'm gonna call my lfs later and see if they have it in stock. If I can pick some up today, I would love to do so. (Mailordering for stuff like this drives me nuts! Haha.)

I'm reading your thread on Annabelle's worms right now. Poor girl! :( I'm so glad it all worked out in the end. She's soo pretty!

I saw your post! Now I'm excited for the video.

I cant help but wonder if all this treatment is maybe unnecessary? I see all the symptoms but Puffy is acting just fine. Puffy has ick spots that have been there for like 3 weeks now (weird, I know!) and his poo looks like ip... Puffy's overall attitude has been great though. He'll get annoyed during gravel vacs and try to attack the hose but hey, I doubt we'd like giant tubes stuck randomly into our homes either. He eats just fine, except for that week I was treating with Jungle Parasite Clear. He wasn't really interested in food and absolutely refused to eat food soaked in medication. He did take a couple of bites out of unmedicated food though. His appetite just wasnt that great but it seems like it was from the medication. Puffy has been eating great lately though. Most things I put in there are sucked up before they even hit the ground.

Here's a video I just got of him. He social but also tends to be a little camera shy. :)

If you use gel-tek the puffer will eat the meds with no problem. It's the only med I know for ip's that puffer's will eat.
It won't hurt to treat him again either. With Annabelle I treated her two more times two weeks apart just to make sure I got it all. I did both treatments for 5 days each. Gel-tek is also good to have on hand just in case you ever need it again.

Btw: How in the world did you get the photobucket video to post on here? I've tried several times without sucess. :(

Oh okay! That's good to know! I'll pick some of that up. :)

As for the videos, I just go to the main page of my photobucket and below the pictures/video are links and I copy and paste the last one in. Hope it works out for you!! :)
