they had lots of the clams (the ones in the pic are about 1 or 2 inches) but the store was packed with people its only open 2 days of the week for a few hours (to walk in) and they don't sell livestock online you had to take a number to get help from anyone

well i did a water test on my tank, sump, overflow, return pump, & power head. everything is working fine but my return pump is a little too strong my overflow cant keep up so i got a ball valve for it today. I'm mad Lowes didn't have any plastic barbed ball valve i had to get a threaded one with barbed adapters

oh well ... the aquarium safe glue is drying (the barbs were a little small) and ill do another test tomorrow i don't think ill have any more problems with that.

No Leaks yay

oh ya i don't have the skimmer running yet until i get my salt water. I'm interested to see how my Eshopps skimmer will work i haven't seen to much about them but the few reviews that were good i hope i made a good choice. its rated for 75-100gal and i have it on a 50gal.

we are hoping for a boy but we both think its going to be a girl. I will let you guys know more when i do.

Awesome!
Is that the tank your going to keep him in? What will be the tankmates? This is freshwater right? You may have to upgrade several times as he grows. Also you will need lot's of filteration. I hear they are pooh machines.

I have one that grew to over 6' long. I finally released him into the wild.

Our daughter Autumn is happy at first she wanted a sister but after then she thought about it for a few days she told us "i want a baby brother because i don't want to share all my toys and if its a girl she will wake me up in my room if she starts to cry" Brittnnie and I just started laughing she is so silly sometimes
