I am gonna turn the light off for a week and try more snails and people shrimps.

right now she only like snails and ghost shrimps, trying to feed people shrimps, clams, and squids, but no luck.
gonna keep trying

You're gonna have to be patient with her - give her time! She's feeding, so it's just a case of you trying and trying until she feeds from dead food. Just be patient

Are you gut-loading the ghost shrimp?

if I am doing it right, I feed the shrimp with vegi flakes and those pill before I feed them to my puffy.
Today, she swim a little more.

This thread is starting me thinking...."It takes a village to raise a puffer". Its pretty awesome.

Hehe, gonna take mor pic when she get use to my tank.

she finally take a bite on people shrimp, but the shrimp is way too big, so she swim away after the bite. XD

she is doing better today, but I saw a white dot in her fin (only one)? is that ich?

My stars and strips and my porc use to get spots on their fins. I never figured out what it was. It was just on the fin, sometimes they would get 3-4 and they just go away. Almost like a poka a dot. If it don't look like a grain of salt it's not ich. I started soaking his food in vitamins and I never see them anymore. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. Also try cutting the shrimp in strips, maybe your porc will eat it then. I know when I did that mine would but she would never take an actual bite out of it. Weird I know but it worked.

the dot on my porc were gona today.
i am gonna try to cut the shrimp smaller then.

my porc is ALOT she's more active at night.. actually she's got alot better in the last few weeks but for the three months before that she'd hide during the day and the buzz around at night..

i've made a habit of only feeding with the lights on, so she gets used to the fact that lights on = food!
