oh go on haha you know you want to step over to the dark side
however, I do wish I had waited just a couple more months until I had a little more cash in reserve, the ever increasing amount of salt in the water changes has been the biggest single cost , spent as much on salt as I have on a canister, rock and skimmer put together so far, I'm using a little over 1.5Kg of salt per water change at the moment, that's nearly 3 and a half pounds LOL when I say I can't wait to get the skimmer installed, I really mean it, really really, I don't know how you folks with HUGE tanks cope with all that salt every week LOL

That is the main reason I'm waiting to go high end brackish possible full marine someday in a 75 or larger tank for my gsp's (both still under 2 inches). It takes a lot of CASH...My lord I had no idea how expensive this hobby can be not to mention how much work and complicated it can get. I do not know how ppl w/ 3 plus big tanks keep up w/ everything. I want to add more neons to my 10g as I lost most of them (I have 3 healthy neons left) but I'm nursing a betta still and do not have the energy to run my QT tank for more neons. I'm waiting until fall break

.
I was hoping to be able to sell off baby danios/tetras and java moss to help w/ the cost of having fish but it's taking longer then I thought for that to work out.

I sold a few non fish related items on ebay to cover some of the cost, which helped a little more as the canister and skimmer were bought off ebay, everything else has been thanks to over time and patience
